Organize Your Work Space

OrganizeIf you read last month’s 10 Minute Solution, you have a new focal point.  And now that you are enjoying being in your actual office space more, let’s look at tackling that TO-DO List 10 Minutes at a time with one of my most effective strategies: Dump and Delegate!

Go through all of your to-do list items and put your least favorite things first. That’s right, first! I am convinced that one of the reasons so many people experience burnout is because of procrastination. Having a heavy duty must-do list hang over your head is just too hard to handle. Get it out of there!

Set yourself a timer for 10 minutes and get your hang ups over with. Make that call you are dreading. Send that email. Finish up that pesky project. It doesn’t matter what the least favorite thing is; what matters is that you deal with it first and foremost. You are the boss. Take control of the situation by dumping what is weighing you down.

Then, you can delegate the rest of your to-do list to its appropriate place. Once you get the big white elephant out of the room, it’s a lot easier to move around the rest of the furniture! Make your business move today!
